Well, at least to me it is.
After a decent amount of time looking for the right wallpaper, everything else came together very nicely… as I had hoped.

Ahhhh… the feel and smell of a newly cleaned up deaktop.
That, my friends, is good living.

Anything sparked your creativity lately?
WOO-HOO!!
I have some nice, NICE, projects lined up now in the next week and a half, and some more really good opportunities that might be lining up in the next couple of months.
Lesson learned. Consistency and networking really do pay off!
I’m thinking business cards and a small website should be next on the docket for this little project.
I’ve got about 8 weeks until I am officially in the status of “unemployed student”, but I am making great headway in quickly moving that status to “student who works on contracted projects”, which would be awesome.
I’ll make sure you post on the upcoming project when we get some stuff done next week.
The past few days have been weird here. Cooling down. Cloudy. Rain!?
I thought, I might as well make the best of it. so, I got out to the school today and took some shots. The set was okay. nothign special, but the weather was perfect for some great outdoor shots this morning.

Today’s pic set here on flickr.
I haven’t been editing any of my pics. Iv’e just been snapping and posting. I have limited software in that regards, so I am trying to rely heavily on just taking good shots.
So, if you like these, lemme know. If you need a cheap photographer in a pinch, and quality is not issue*, holler at your boy.
*This was a joke. But if you do have some pics you want shot, let me know, I need to get the reps in. No charge either!! (tips accepted and appreciated however)
I don’t have any stories to tell right now.
This is terrible news. Well, to me at least.
I used to have lists and lists of good stories to tell and to share, but I realize I’ve used all of those up, and I haven’t really been building any new stories or experiences as of late.
The majority of what I do right now is very much routine. I have a feeling that’s just a safety mechanism that I’ve flipped on. When you engaged solely in routine, you really don’t take any chances, you don’t cross any lines, you don’t push yourself or your limits… you just exist.
And that just doesn’t sound incredibly fulfilling or enlightening.
There are some big changes coming up quickly in my life, and I’d have to imagine that with those changes, I won’t be able to sit back into a safety mode. It will force me to conenct with new stories and experiences. Part of me looks forward to that, and part of me is scared to death that I have forgotten how to be a part of something outside of the routine.
I want to tell a story…
…But I want it to be about you. Can you help me with it?
I want to talk about the people you come in contact with everyday.
These are just a few ideas. There are hundreds more…
Do you get the idea? I want to tell a story about the regular people that you come into contact with on a daily basis – nothing special, just the regular people that you find all around you.

Here’s where you come in…
I need a picture of them. Literally. a pic.
Can you use your cellphone, flipcam, digital camera and just snap a pic of them? Then, could you send it to me (how you can get the pics to me is below). I know it’s a bold request, but it would go a long way in telling an important story that you and I both need to hear.
What’s the story? Well, I’ll tell you this much… its about Luke 14, and its got a lot of soul.
Or at least it will, once you help out.
How you can send me pics:
Oh, and I need them by this Saturday (May 16).
If all goes well, I’ll share it with you next week.
Thanks!!
So, here’s a submission to JPG Magazine.

So, I’ve got my direction for writing. I know what I am going to attempt.
That’s the good news.
The bad news?
I’m not going to be able to post most of it for a while. But, it’s time to get going on the writing. I’m pretty sure what I write about will be the bread and butter of what I have to share right now.
I spent all week trying to figure out what I had to write about. I came up with a plan, and now it has to all be buried for now. Yeah, that sounds about right.

My grey hair is going exponential on me. This is just a personal note.
